Rui Filipe has been part of Diaverum since 2025, initially taking on the role of National Medical Director and, since 2026, serving as Country Manager.
His three daughters, family, music and sport are the elements that best define him outside the professional environment.
A nephrologist by training, he attained Senior Consultant status and also held a teaching position at the University of Beira Interior.
Throughout his professional career, his entrepreneurial spirit has led him to take on various coordination and leadership responsibilities in both public and private institutions, including roles as Clinical Director, Residency Programme Director, Organ Procurement Coordinator, Vice-President of ANADIAL, and coordinator of the national Chronic Kidney Disease and Transplantation registries.
