On June 30th we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Diaverum Peso da Régua Unit.
Over these 25 years, more than 600 chronic kidney patients have received excellent care at this clinic, with a team always available to support them unconditionally.
The 25th anniversary celebration was led by Luís Oliveira and Luís Espinheira, respectively Clinical Director and Head Nurse, and was attended by Dr. Maria João from the Municipal Council of Peso da Régua, the Ombudsman of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Peso da Régua, representatives of fire brigades and representatives of APIR, which made us very proud.
This celebration was only possible because patients and their families trusted in our care and because we have an extraordinary multidisciplinary team (assistants, administrators, nurses, pharmacist, nutritionist, social worker, doctors and nephrologists), who were also present at the event.
The ceremony also featured a tribute to 11 employees who have dedicated more than 10 years to caring for these patients, who make us very proud for their unparalleled dedication.
